Exciting information about our clients’ newest projects, concerts, and releases!

Also this weekend, The International Institute for Culture presents Schola Nova, under the direction of Timothy McDonnell.

 

On Saturday, Oct. 15th at the German Society of PA and Sunday, October 16th at St. John’s Church in Bala Cynwyd, Schola Nova performed their program Das Himmlische Leben: Mahler and the Heavenly Life.

 

The all-Mahler program, arranged and conducted by McDonnell, featured soprano Andrea Lauren Brown in nine of the ten works performed.

 

Weston Sound is proud to be recording Schola Nova throughout their 2004-2005 season!

Last year, the Kimmel Center Presents and WRTI brought the phenomenally successful Dreamin’ of Dizzy series of jazz performances.  This year, the series Take the Col’train seeks to explore the influence of John Coltrane on jazz players and jazz composition throughout the Americas.

 

The first concert in this series, “Argentina,” took place this past Saturday, October 16th in the Perelman Theater in the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, and features The Claudio Ragazzi Quintet featuring Diego Urcola.

 

This concert will air on WRTI 90.1FM in Philadelphia
