The Academy of Vocal Arts presents the latest in their series of concert operas, the rarely performed L’Amico Fritz by Pietro Mascagni, in the Kimmel Center’s Perelman Theater. The Philadelphia Inquirer’s David Patrick Sterns said this performance “…further validated what one hopes will be an annual practice of presenting musically worthy… operas in concert form.” AVA’s exceptionally talented resident artists perform the three act opera, with orchestral accompaniment by the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. |
