Simon Paverd joined Weston Sound & Video as an audio intern at the age of 16. Eight years later, he is now an integral part of the team, working audio and video on an array of projects, from live-streamed concerts in museums to full-length opera performances.  Simon brings a fresh, energetic drive to his work.  Relentlessly curious, and often a step ahead of the rest of the pack, Simon is an invaluable member of every remote recording project.

Simon also has a parallel career in Information Technology.  His experience in IT adds networking and troubleshooting skills to the team.  He is a passionate dog-lover, avid gamer, and enjoys nature hikes. He has a particular love for National Parks and plans regular trips around the US with like-minded friends to take in the incredible beauty.

When pandemic struck, Simon began to hone his video skills, both recording and editing. He has run video on several projects for Weston Sound & Video and is often the go-to camera operator. He prides himself on being a great team player and looks forward to at least another eight years with Weston Sound.
